  1. MAAGP Member of the Month
    1. Congratulations Danny Blitch!  We appreciate everything you do as webmaster and devoted member of the MAAGP team!
  2. Conference is only a few weeks away.  We have a large number of people representing MAAGP.  Discussion of a dinner together while we are there took place.  The practice exam sent ahead for the certification test was discussed, worries were voiced on the validity of a few practice questions.
  3. Sandy Spruill has officially resigned as Vice-President due to new responsibilities at GPB.  The procedure to follow was discussed, per by-laws.
    1. Jessica Pater nominated Danny Blitch
    2. Cathy Brown seconded the nomination
    3. Danny said that he would seriously consider it
    4. The floor was opened to anyone that wanted to be considered for the vote next meeting.  They were instructed to email Amanda if they wanted to be considered.
  4. Sylvia did a great job designing a new logo so we are compliant with the national office.  A few modifications were suggested so it might compliment the official AAGP logo that has to be a part of the website banner.  Those notes were taken down to send to Sylvia.
  5. Programming:  In continuing to prepare those taking the certification exam, Amanda asked a few more of our diverse members to shed light on what a day in their life is actually like:
    1. Eden Freeman spoke about her current job with the Administrative Office of the Courts and her past position at CJCC.
    2. Sonja Fillingame also spoke on her past experience with CJCC and her current position at the City of Sandy Springs.
    3. Ken Owen spoke to his role within Cherokee County Schools
    4. Teresa Crosby spoke about her role in MUST Ministries.
    5. It should be noted that there was a lively Q&A between the group and the speakers.
