Metro Atlanta Association of Grant Professionals Meeting Minutes November 27, 2007 Present: Amanda Day, Dana McGraw, Danny Blitch, Jessica Pater, Jo-ann Lawrence, Michelle Epstein, Nell Patterson, Patricia Duboise, Sonja Fillingame, Sylvia Redic, Tanikia Jackson, Eden Freeman Next meeting: December 18, 2007; 1:00, The Clubhouse at Lenox Square (Holiday Luncheon)
I. Old Business- The minutes from October meeting need to be amended to reflect the correct attendance.
II. New Business- Our CFO Dana updated us on the status of our bank account. As of September 1st, we had $597.30 which is a $100 increase since our last update!
- MAAGP Member of the Month
- Congratulations David Bridges! We appreciate all of your support and your relentless efforts as our State Rep!
- MAAGP Logo
- Discussion on what the exact requirements are for the logo vs. what the newest design that Sylvia brought in.
- Discussion on whether to change from Metro Atlanta to a more encompassing state-wide

- Members that attended (Jessica, Sylvia, Danny, Amanda, Nancy, Sonja, Vickie, and Eden) shared insights of what they liked and did not like about the conference and being in D.C.
- Danny came up with the Top Ten list for the conference. Noted highlights included Amanda getting left behind in the subway, Eden falling in the street, and Jessica getting hit in the head with a discarded chicken leg.
- GPC Testing
- Those brave souls that took the test shared (as much as they could) sentiments regarding the test. We should know if they passed in 30-90 days
- General sentiments…..bah humbug!
