In 2001, Paula started grant program for DeKalb County…hahahaha lets start a support group for grant writers….For 3 years, there were a handful of school district people that met occasionally to network and grew into what it is today. *** What do you personally expect out of the organization; what personal impact do you want this organization to have on you? What are you giving back to the organization? - I am looking for a clearer example of what grant writers do/who they are
- I am looking for a venue to discuss possible grant possibilities and to network with my peers.
- I am looking for an organization that is reputable to attach my name to and be a part of as further development of my professional attributes
Good Professional Organizaitons: - They are ethical

- They are responsive to the needs of the group
- They have a clear mission and set of ruling objectives that are followed
- They are dynamic and fluid; not static
